- Embed the anchor 4″ into a 6″ minimum concrete beam or 8″ nominal grouted block wall

- For mislocated anchors, use a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is between 1/8″ and 1 1/2″
- Avoid installing fasteners where straps overlap in double embedded anchor installations
