Simpson Strong-Tie HETA20/TSS2 Installation Overview
- Embed the anchor 4″ into a 6″ minimum concrete beam or 8″ nominal grouted block wall
- Ensure proper alignment and use of specified fasteners
- For mislocated anchors, provide a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is between 1/8″ and 1 1/2″
- Do not install fasteners where straps overlap in double embedded anchor installations
